While the four bodies of the Scottish Rite meet once a month for dinner and a stated business meeting, the members of the Valley have many other opportunities to join together in fellowship and to better server this active organization. While certain clubs like the 33° Club, KCCH and Knights of St. Andrew have membership restrictions, the remaining organizations are open to all Scottish Rite Masons in the Valley.

Since the Valley of Kansas City is comprised of members who travel long distances to attend meetings and because not all members have the luxury to travel a long ways to the temple and then home again after a monthly Wednesday meeting, local clubs were established to allow the brothers in a given area to meet and share knowledge without the travel that is required to the temple. These "Local Clubs" are self sufficient and often sponsor their own fund-raisers which allows them to sponsor candidates for membership, assist the Valley with special projects and further the growth of Freemasonry! Many clubs meet at local restaurants and reservations help to insure that the business is properly staffed for dinner.
