| Purpose | ||||
The
Raytown Scottish Rite Club, like all geographical defined Scottish Rite
groups in the Valley, was created to provide adjunct support to members
of the Scottish Rite who may be unable to attend monthly meetings at the
Kansas City Temple but still desire an opportunity for Masonic fellowship
with like minded brothers and their families. The Raytown Club serves
all of Eastern Jackson County Missouri and while we are just a short distance
from downtown Kansas City, we still enjoy the camaraderie provided by
our local get together's each and every month. The Raytown Club raises funds for projects we have adopted. Other opportunities to assist the Masonic community are frequently presented to the membership and decided on by vote at our meetings. |

| Our club meets on the second
Monday of each month at Ararat Shrine in the old Sultain's Lounge in Kansas
City, MO. We gather around 6:00 PM for dinner (off the menu). We rap the
gavel at 7:00 PM for our meeting and usually are finished by 8:30 PM. We
welcome all Masons in the area to join us. If you want to join us, please call our President, Ron Hewitt, at 816/746-5497 with the number in your party or you can email him at mastermason@kc.rr.com He will need this information by the Friday before our meeting so that Shrine can plan their space and personnel accordingly. |
